Just look at this adorable little robin ❤️

Amidst the chaos of Storm Austen, this little fella chose my rusty flower garden stakes for a quick rest (and photo shoot)!

It’s never about 'just gardening'.

It’s those precious minutes where your brain finally slows down.

You notice the soil, the new shoots, the small signs of life, and somehow, just somehow, you end up sorting through your thoughts instead.

The garden doesn’t ask for words or plans, just presence.

It’s strange how something so simple can make everything else feel lighter again 🌿

So much gorgeousness in this one photo... the wisteria 🌿, the stone work, the door... the obelisks!

These two 1m tower obelisks left the workshop recently and headed to the West Country. Here, the customer opted to paint them black - and doesn't the colour really pop against the beautiful stone 🖤

🍂 A little bit of autumn in my garden this morning...

I love how the colours are starting to fade into those soft autumnal shades, although someone forget to tell the bright pink, self-seeded nicotiana that 🤣

Amongst the fading grasses, hydrangea and sedums, there's a new little addition, too. Our new galvanised bird feeder.

A seasonal transition from the rain catchers, our bird feeders have been hot-dipped in molten zinc to give outstanding weather and rust protection. And with a small drainage hole to allow water to escape from seed and fat balls.

I think they look rather lovely against all those autumnal colours 🤎

A little break from the garden content… 🌿🏃‍♀️

Over the past year, I’ve partnered with a local running club to supply them with trophies and medals for some of their running events.

Race on the Chase was on Sunday and I’m seeing so many brilliant photos of winners, runners and proud participants - and then there’s the one I really wasn’t expecting… a cat (Bindi) modelling their medal. 😂🐈🏅

This just made my day! ❤️

A lovely couple I met at the Cherry Tree Nursery event last week has just sent me this photo of their new Firefly obelisk, now installed and supporting their abutilon.

And I just LOVE what they had to say...

“We are totally happy with the obelisk and were amazed at how easy and smoothly it went into the ground. No bending of legs as with others.

Thank you for such a superior product.”

That bit about the legs made me particularly happy 😊

Because when I make your obelisks, I'm not just thinking about how they look in the garden. I'm thinking about how they're going to actually go into the ground - and stay there!

No flimsy legs. No bending them trying to get them installed. Just a solid, properly made garden support that does the job it's supposed to do.

And look at that abutilon! 🌿

It's still settling in, but I think it's going to look rather spectacular once it gets going and this customer has already promised to send another photo next season.
