Another multipurpose room nearly finished, just needs some paint and final electrics. This one has a shed on the end and the main room is insulated with plastered ceiling but ply wood walls. It will be used as a store/workshop but built with a change of use in mind for the future. So much easier when the sun shines!!!!

Well 4 weeks of constant rain, we didn’t quite get the “Toblerone” finished before Christmas but a couple of icy days this week and phase one is done.
This building uses the full potential of the space available, however creating a triangular room does create various challenges but that is what we like and the point of creating something bespoke. Now they can get a feel for the space there will be some follow up jobs to get the room exactly as they want it, so we will be back to finish the whole project.

We found a window last week between freezing temperatures and just before the relentless rain to pour the concrete on this job which we were preparing while paint dried on the last job. A mostly dry day yesterday and we are pressing on with a triangular office built to fit the space available which was previously home to lots of chickens!!!

Another Individual room created, this time from the garage space to be used as a part time office and dance studio.
We had to play by the rules on this one so again took care of all the drawings, planning and building regs, bloody great service.
Expert brick work by all electrical work signed off and certified by making everything smooth on the inside and adding ventilation to the roof.
A great team who we have known for up to 30 years and worked together on many projects over many years.

We build “multipurpose garden rooms” well this is a space primarily for two tortoises to live in!! Fully insulated built on the existing ground but protected from damp. A sky light for natural light. Door flap for the summer when they go wandering!
Design brief: fully insulated dry space connected to existing outbuilding, electricity for heaters and lighting. Uncomplicated to a sensible budget but built to last. ☑️

We are still working away but the rain has really set us back as we have to keep everything dry on this garage/office combo! While nailing these joist hangers for the first floor and being dripped on I realised that over 20 years ago as an engineer I designed the press tools that make (a brand) of joist hangers! Time flies.
If you want something Truely bespoke we have the experience along with the experience of the associated trades we work with to build what ever you can dream of right down to specialised components to get the design you want.

Before the hot summer and now the rain! We revisited a previous build to carry out some new work. The yoga studio was being enjoyed by the new garden occupants, Chickens!! Relaxing and laying eggs in the hanging chair.
We put up a fence to keep them contained.
Great to see these builds being used and as the rooms are normally part of a larger garden project we love to be involved in other stages to finish off the project as a whole. It gives us variety and is satisfying to help complete and see the end goal with our customers.

Just about complete. One window left to arrive but it’s a a opening round window so not your average request. This build has been special as we knew it would be. The decision was made to design and build as we go with a basic idea in place. This is truly bespoke with multiple areas being manufactured specifically for this job, along with everything constructed onsite to meet the design requirements. Every inch of the room has been considered by our customers which we added to the running design brief and came up with this. Too many elements to show and discuss. For now look at the pictures and get intouch for us to plan your outside space.

Another project in the pipeline. A workshop with an office on top! Dual purpose builds are our favourites. Mixing business and pleasure. This one requires full planning and building regulations which have all been taken care of again by great team carrying out precise surveys and drawings with great communication through the increasing difficult process full of red tape!!
