Busy Monday across multiple sites 😅💪

Just two of us on this job today, carrying out detailed roof & chimney inspections after reports of leaks, making sure everything is properly assessed and ready for repair.

At the same time, the rest of the lads were cracking on with a temporary roof installation on another site 💪

Today we erected a scaffold over a thatched house to gain access to the chimney.
Beams were used to span over the roof, ensuring the thatch was fully protected and not subjected to any load.

Here’s the start of a temporary roof installation on a cobb building that suffered fire damage and partial collapse following an unauthorised break-in.
Our scaffold will allow essential repair and restoration works to be carried out safely while protecting what remains of the structure.

It’s definitely been a challenging week with this weather 😅🌧️

Despite the conditions, the team has been flat out getting jobs completed safely and efficiently. This is just one of many smaller projects we’ve ticked off this week, alongside the start of two massive temporary roof structures now being erected.

Come rain or shine, we take pride in keeping sites protected, schedules moving, and standards high. A huge credit to the lads for pushing through and delivering quality work as always.

Another staircase to heaven 💪
A 6m x 4m loading bay platform, designed to safely lift 300kg via hoist, providing material access for the new roof installation.

This is one of the largest scaffolding projects we’re currently erecting. The job also includes a temporary scaffolding roof spanning the entire pool house, ensuring the structure remains fully weatherproof while the roof replacement is carried out.

From complex access solutions to full temporary roofing systems — there’s nothing we can’t do.

A lively start to the day, to say the least. The weather was already poor in Portland, and our site got the worst of it. Despite the wind and rain, the scaffolding access tower was erected in a safe and controlled manner, ready for the gutter to be cleared and the new lining installed. All part of the job — just with a bit more weather than planned.
