Welding & Fabrication – Welder/Fabricator/Trainee / Welder’s Mate / Apprentice
G Welding are looking for one new member to join our team and develop their skills in welding and fabrication.
This is a great opportunity for someone aged 17+ who is keen to learn, hands on, hardworking and looking to build a long term career in welding and fabrication.
We are open to considering someone with some experience who wants to progress, or someone at the beginning of their career who is looking for the right opportunity to learn and develop.
The role could suit someone with experience as a:
• Welder / Fabricator
• Welder’s Mate
• Welding Trainee
• Apprentice
What we’re looking for:
• A genuine interest in welding and fabrication
• A good attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Practical and hands-on
• Someone who takes pride in their work
• Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
• Full driving licence, or currently working towards getting one
• Any previous welding, fabrication or workshop experience would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right person
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn new skills, gain experience and progress within the business. Training and support will be provided, with the role developing alongside the individual’s skills and experience.
We are particularly interested in someone who is keen to learn, has plenty to learn and is willing to put the effort in. The right attitude, commitment and willingness to improve are more important to us than having years of experience.
This is one position available, with the level of the role and responsibilities depending on the successful candidate’s existing experience and ability.
