DE Marine recently attended in Lochinver at the French trawler Jean Pierre Le Roch following a major failure at sea in the power cabinets for the electric winch system onboard. A failed contactor caused irreparable damage to the main rectifier. Spare parts were hot-shotted in from France and within 24hrs of the failure diagnosis, the system was re-commissioned and tested successfully by DE Marine. And straight back to sea thereafter.
