People often ask why we’re so passionate about renewable homes.

This installation is a great example. 👇

Everything works together as one system.

During the day, the solar panels generate electricity. Any surplus energy can be stored in the battery for later use, helping to power the home after the sun goes down. The EV charger can then make use of that renewable energy to charge the homeowner’s vehicle too.

For this project, we worked alongside Anglesey Roofing to install an in-roof solar system, creating a clean, integrated finish that sits flush with the roof.

It’s not just about solar panels on a roof. It’s about creating a smarter, more efficient home that’s designed around how people live today.

⚠️ £9,000 grant towards a heat pump for Oil & LPG heated homes 🏡

From 21st July 2026, eligible homes currently heated by oil or LPG could receive up to £9,000 towards an Air Source or Ground Source Heat Pump through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.

That's an increase from the standard £7,500 grant, which remains available for many other eligible properties.
What many homeowners don't realise is:

✅Not every heat pump installation requires new radiators
✅Not every property needs major upgrades
✅Many modern homes are already well suited to heat pump technology

During a survey, we assess your existing heating system, insulation levels and heat loss to determine exactly what's needed for your property.

The increased £9,000 grant is available to eligible homes and small businesses in England and Wales that are currently heated by oil or LPG.

Properties heated by mains gas may still be eligible for the standard £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant.
The £9,000 grant launches on 21st July 2026. If you're considering a heat pump, now could be the ideal time to arrange a survey and find out what's possible for your property before demand increases.

🌟 Diolch, Dyffryn Ogwen! 🌟

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand at the Dyffryn Ogwen Show on Saturday.

It was great to catch up with so many existing customers, hear how your systems are performing, and chat with homeowners and businesses who are considering renewable energy for the first time.

We really appreciate everyone who took the time to come and speak with the team, and we're already looking forward to doing it all again at the Cheshire Show!

Diolch yn fawr i bawb ddaeth draw i'n stondin yn Sioe Dyffryn Ogwen ddydd Sadwrn.

Since becoming MCS accredited in 2011, we've delivered 1,283 MCS-certified renewable energy installations on the island, meaning we've contributed to 12.83% of all MCS-certified installations across Anglesey.

In fact, 29.38% of all the renewable energy measures we've installed since 2011 have been delivered to homes and businesses on Anglesey.

We're incredibly proud to support our local communities and help more homeowners make the switch to renewable energy. ☀️🏡

Ers cael achrediad MCS yn 2011, rydym wedi cwblhau 1,283 o osodiadau ynni adnewyddadwy wedi'u hardystio gan MCS ar yr ynys, sy'n golygu ein bod wedi cyfrannu at 12.83% o holl osodiadau MCS Ynys Môn.

The Isle of Anglesey recently reached an important milestone in renewable energy adoption, becoming the third highest performing local authority in the UK for MCS certified installations.

The island now has over 10,000 MCS certified installations, with approximately 3 in 10 households benefiting from small-scale renewables

This demonstrates the significant progress being made locally in supporting the adoption of low-carbon technologies such as solar panels and heat pumps, and reflects strong community engagement with the transition.

It's fantastic to see this being enjoyed 😊💚

This was part of the community work we carried out with Adra Tai Cyf, where we installed solar PV systems on 27 homes to help reduce energy bills and improve energy efficiency for local residents.

It's great to see projects like this making a real difference in the community. ☀️🏡

🌡️ Heat pump rules are changing in Wales from 1st June 👀

One of the biggest changes?

Air source heat pumps can now be installed within 3 metres of a property boundary under permitted development rights in many cases. 🏡

This could make heat pumps possible for many homes that may not have previously been suitable due to space restrictions.

So if you’ve previously been told your home wasn’t suitable for a heat pump, or your installation was limited by the old planning rules, it may be worth looking at it again 👀

Other changes include:
✅ Larger heat pumps now permitted
✅ Up to 2 heat pumps allowed on detached homes
✅ Easier installation rules overall
