What a first week back! Frozen pipes and emergencies everywhere this week and some of us still suffering from the winter bug.

Apologies to anyone we have not yet contacted, we are nearly caught up and will be in touch today if we have not already!

154 completed jobs this week so far to Thursday close of play including 6 boiler swaps and a good few more awaiting parts to be fitted and completion today plus another boiler today and a few more frozen pipes for good measure

And most of that has just been reactive 🥶

Heat pump services are no problem here.. it seems most cant or won't which is in our opinion strange?! We do not shy away

The majority are not qualified to even offer this service and as we are an award wining industry recognised and manufacture approved installer we can bridge the gap whether it be initial design leading to install or service and maintain.

Gecko offer a full design and install to leading industry and UK standards as a baseline but over and above we take on the ones that no one can fix... the problem jobs! Heat pumps/gas/oil etc and plumbing. If your commited to fixing a problem others can't fix then we would probably relish that challenge so get in touch for an estimate and to discuss !

The first of two Vaillant UK heat pumps getting handed over this week! A nice 5kw heat pump unit here which uses the Vaillant Sensocomfort wireless controls and an open loop design for maximum efficiency.

Great day keeping up to date with the new Vaillant UK controls in their Sunderland training center. Thanks Chris Tonothy Vaillant

We are always a fan of using the manufactures properitary controls to maximize efficiency and by using weather compensation the boilers and heat pump products will use the outdoor temperature and the indoor temperature to work out and set the boiler to its most efficient and comfortable way to heat your home all by itself. 💪

The perfect day to be out servicing heat pumps in the country and with the sun shining! This one hadn't been serviced for a few years and a few recommended upgrades to insulation needed etc but otherwise left running perfectly 👌Glycol level checked, filters and strainers cleaned along with heat exchanger and condensate tray all cleared of debris and case/fans all back to new.

Servicing Air source heat pumps ready for the cold weather! We can service and repair all heat pump units. Vaillant and Mitsubishi units today. All filters cleaned and checked, condensate traps cleared, fans, evaporators and general performances checked along with transfer fluid levels and frost protection.

Another week down and more underfloor heating getting laid. We specialize in renewable and low temperature gas heating and we are lucky enough to work in some lovely places!

We all love the North East and we want to preserve and protect our surroundings and savings on energy bills help both this and our morale as no one wants to pay more each month 👌

Neat copper pipe work and a bit of a change in-terms of vans with a new ford hybrid entering the fleet! Impressed so far with the new van. Happy weekend and some more to follow 😁
