Best guess is that the body has taken a knock.
Anyway, little bit of emery, and now it's all free moving!

'wait, what's that noise?' I say to myself, and I'm cleaning this carb out.
Another 'rattle' of the floats. Weird. Give one a bit of a squeeze, and fuel sprays from a pinhole. "AhhhHa!".
Que a few minutes of drilling it out, draining the fuel, and soldering it closed, test it in water, and hay presto, good as new (dispite being 46 years old)!
