NFU Mutual Warminster was delighted to be invited to the 'Apprentice Excellence Awards' last Wednesday 22nd October where, as sponsors of the "Inspirational Apprentice Award", we were treated to an afternoon celebrating outstanding achievements and invaluable contributions to the workforce by a inspirational group of adult apprentices and their employers.

Rob Maddocks, NFU Mutual Warminster Agent, was delighted to present the award to Cosmin Zagarin from Dextra Group plc.. Cosmin was given the award for - "...gaining an apprenticeship after overcoming a multitude of significant barriers. This journey speaks volumes of his exceptional courage, perseverance, and unwavering dedication to building a brighter future..."

The ceremony was championed by ITV newsreader and presenter, Alex Lovell, who spoke about her own professional journey from the BBC to ITV and the need for resilience and belief in one's own ability. She was personable. funny and a great endorser of the adult apprenticeship scheme.

The event was put together by Management Training Plus, a government-approved independent training provider, based in Westbury specialising in delivering high-quality apprenticeship programmes across the South West.
