Founder and Director of Zendrill Scaffolding Brad Smith presented Curly’s Farm & School with a brand-new minibus 😃
The minibus was donated by Variety Golf, Brad chose the charity Curly’s Farm & School.
(From Curly’s Farm and School Facebook ⬇️) Special thanks must be made to Brad Smith and Zendrill Scaffolding Ltd for making this happen.
Now, the local and wider community have been opened up not only to our students but to our young farmers too!
Being a school in a deprived area has many disadvantages, such as poor transport links, a lack of amenities, and few opportunities. This amazing bus now opens up a world of opportunities to us all at Curly’s Farm & School.
Next week, our lower school is attending ‘Living Land’ at the Detling Showground, joining thousands of other students from across Kent. They will be looking at farming, agriculture, and the history of farming, as well as showcasing their own animals.
On Thursday, our upper school students will be attending ‘Countryside Careers,’ focusing on employment and apprenticeship opportunities in our students’ areas of interest.
This is only possible due to Variety Golf, Brad Smith, and Zendrill Scaffolding Ltd.
Your support will continue to impact young people’s lives and ripple through the years to come, as our Curly’s Farm bus travels hundreds and thousands of miles across Kent and further afield, giving our young people more opportunities and experiences.
The bus has 17x seats AND a tail lift which means we can ensure full inclusivity for wheelchair users.
From everyone at Curly’s Farm & School, THANK YOU!
