Camscaff Scaffolding, on behalf of our client Beaver Bridges, has delivered a meticulously designed scaffold structure engineered to support and land a massive 6-tonne beam directly onto the dancefloor!

Built to exacting standards, this setup provides a rock-solid, stable platform for precise coring works followed by safe beam installation - handling serious loads without compromise.

This is another testament to the strength and accuracy our team brings to every project.

You could add a few lights and it could even take a helicopter! 🚁 (But please do not try this!)

As the year comes to a close, we want to say a huge thank you to our incredible team and to all of our customers for your support throughout 2025. It’s been a busy, but incredibly rewarding year and we couldn’t do what we do without you.

Like many, we closed last week for a well-earned Christmas break, giving our team time to rest, recharge and enjoy the festive season 🎄 We will be returning fresh on Monday 5th January.

As we look ahead to 2026, now is the perfect time to start thinking about upcoming projects. From our experience, the best results always come from early engagement - it allows more time for planning, problem-solving and delivering the right solution from the start.

He’s done it! 🌍🚴‍♂️

After weeks of cycling through rural Vietnam and Cambodia, our very own MD Stephen Rowan has crossed the finish line, completing the journey of a lifetime and making an incredible impact along the way.

Together with the group, Stephen helped raise over £140,000 to fund microloans that empower families living in extreme poverty to build their own small businesses and create brighter futures.

💬 “Along the way, I witnessed the reality of poverty first-hand, yet was humbled by the resilience and joy of the people we met. Despite having so little, they welcomed us with the biggest smiles. Meeting entrepreneurs whose lives have already been transformed by this support was truly inspiring.

This experience has been amazing, humbling, and a powerful reminder of how collective effort can change lives. Thank you to everyone who supported — you’ve helped create hope, opportunity, and lasting change.”

From the intense training, to the long days in the saddle, to the life-changing people he met - Stephen’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Supporting Essential Works at the National Stadium 🏟

Camscaff Scaffolding was proud to support our client during refurbishment works at Hampden Park . Our team provided a safe, fully encapsulated scaffold to enable blasting and painting of the steel beams above the vehicle entrance, along with monoblock and railing remedial works.

Working around this key access point, we delivered a clean, secure, and environmentally controlled setup—ensuring the specialist works could be carried out safely and efficiently.

After a year gruelling training, our very own MD Stephen Rowan is about to embark on a trip of a lifetime, as he raises money for a fantastic cause!

The best part? He'll be reporting back at all significant points right across our social platforms! 💪

Stephen leaves next week for the first leg of his journey, Vietnam. So read what he had to say below before it all begins:

💬 "That’s the last weekend of training done and dusted! Next stop: Vietnam, where I’ll begin cycling my way to Siem Reap in Cambodia — covering 70 to 80 km a day through stunning landscapes and vibrant cultures.

This journey has been a year in the making. A full year of planning, training, and transformation — I’m now 2.5 stone lighter than when I started. It’s been tough, but every pedal stroke has brought me closer to this moment.

I’ll be riding with 30 others I’ve never met, united by a shared mission: supporting Care International, an incredible organization working across the globe to help people — especially women and young girls — break free from poverty and build better futures.

For someone who loves outdoor cycling and believes in helping others, this will be a truly rewarding experience.

I just want to take this opportunity to thank all the scaffs and staff, along with my family and friends who donated to my page — you’ve made this journey possible and meaningful.

A special shoutout to Peter Gray from 360 Ledger Services — technically a friend, but definitely worthy of a plug! And of course, Kris and Kevin from Select Insulations — I’ll be wearing your cycling tops with pride."

Mega Structures Are in Our Blood – Forth Road Bridge Update!

At Camscaff Scaffolding, we thrive on complex, high-stakes projects—and working on structures like the Forth Road Bridge is exactly where we shine.

🔧 Project Overview:
Our team was proud to support our client Beaver Bridges on this iconic structure, erecting 8 separate scaffolds along the south-west backstay and across several panel points of the bridge. The aim was to allow for complete environmental encapsulation - a critical step in ensuring protection from the elements during cable works.

🛠 Precision Meets Engineering:
These scaffolds weren’t just big - they were millimetre perfect. Built on a ramp to accommodate specialist cable bandage stripping and wrapping equipment, the structures required meticulous planning and ex*****on. From the scaffold boards to the sides, roof, and the shrink wrap finish - every detail was dialled in with care.

🚧 Challenges We Tackled:
Working on an active bridge with limited access and demanding tolerances is no small feat. But with detailed design work, teamwork, and experience in high-risk environments, Team Camscaff delivered yet again.
