As a business, we are saddened to hear of the news of Stewart Milne Group going into administration today.

If we can help any employees who have been affected by this, we are currently looking for roofers, boarders, roughcasters and joiners to join our team, specifically in our Aberdeen and Edinburgh sites where we have exciting projects happening.

Our Skills Academy programme in partnership with West College Scotland has exceeded expectations, providing practical training within a college environment and hands-on experience to individuals interested in becoming fully qualified external wall insulators. Our latest cohort of Akademos have been making a positive impact on our organisation with their approach to work and attention to detail.

Our commitment to supporting their development on site has been crucial to their success, and we are proud of their progress and dedication. We are fully committed to continuing to support them in their training and college placements and look forward to seeing them progress towards their full-time employment with A.C. Whyte.

Happy ! This theme this year is ‘Skills for Life’ reflecting on how apprenticeship routes can help individuals develop the skills and knowledge for a rewarding and fulfilled career.

At A.C. Whyte, we champion the need to shape the energy efficient minds of the future. Today we celebrate and support , where the theme this year is to invest in people and prioritise education. Over the last year, our team have delivered over 30 sessions to schools within areas we are working in across The City of Edinburgh Council, North Lanarkshire Council , Renfrewshire Council and Glasgow City Council.
