🚪 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 – 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 ⚙️ This recent project involved installing a manual, spring-loaded aluminium shutter to secure the reception area within student accommodation in Stirling.

Finished in anthracite grey, the shutter provides a smart, practical security solution while fitting neatly into the existing reception space.

It’s always great to receive feedback like this after a completed installation — especially when the finished result makes such a noticeable difference.

🔥 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗶𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 🔥 We recently installed this pair of steel fire exits in a large industrial premises in Chapelhall, on behalf of ESS Scotland Ltd. They both have panic bars and are to be used as emergency exits only (so no external access devices required), and one of the doors has a large over-panel. 🚪 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 – 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 📸 These photos are from a recent installation for the Kibble Group's Skills Academy in Hillington.

The entrance previously relied on a glazed doorway, and additional security was required outside operating hours. To improve protection, while keeping a clean, professional appearance, we installed a new electric roller shutter finished in powder-coated anthracite grey.

Operated via a key switch, the shutter provides simple, reliable operation while adding an extra layer of security to the building when required.

We think the darker finish works really well with the existing entrance and signage too 👌

We recently installed a new roller shutter & steel fire exits for a builders merchants in Inverurie, on behalf of Advanced Building Contractors. The old manual shutter was upgraded to an electric, key-switch operated roller shutter. A pair of new steel fire exits with panic bars were also installed in newly-created doorways (the builders still had some work to do when the photos were taken). The shutter & fire exits were all powder coated black & look really smart.

🚪 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 🔧 These photos are from the recent installation of a pair of 3-phase electric roller shutters for Gilmour and Aitken Ltd in Alexandria.

The existing shutters had developed faults that meant safe repairs weren’t possible, so a full replacement was the best option to restore safe and reliable operation.

With health & safety a top priority, the new installation includes:
✅ direct-drive shutter fitted with a built-in safety brake
✅ chain-driven shutter with a separate safety brake
✅ hold-to-run close controls via wall-mounted switches

It's been nice to finish the week installing a new shutter in Balloch, although the weather has been a bit crazy 🌧️ ☀️ More photos of our actual work to follow next week & have a great weekend when it comes!

⚙️ 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗟𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 🏎️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 We’ve recently completed the installation of 6 insulated roller shutters for a new steel building being constructed for a car dealership in Leeds.

Finished in a powder-coated anthracite grey, the shutters complement the modern look of the building while providing a durable and practical solution for daily use.

Each shutter is operated via wall-mounted buttons, giving simple and reliable control for staff on site.

A great project to be involved in, and another step towards the completion of this new dealership.
