CORONAVIRUS:
With news updates changing daily, I wrote the following health guidelines to a customer who’s job I’m starting in Netherlee, Glasgow for two weeks from tomorrow, Mon 23rd Mar ’20.
I can’t obviously work from home and it may be morally wrong for me to work at this moment in time but, without any worthwhile government guarantees, being self-employed forces me to do this, albeit with my customers full permission.
I’d welcome anyone’s comments.
Please be safe everyone.

RAVENSWOOD PLASTERING - CUSTOMER CORONAVIRUS GUIDELINES
“This health guidance is for your family’s protection and mine.
I have permission to work in your house as per my agreed quote.
I’m self-employed, I work and also live on my own and am used to this and my understanding is that I am still allowed to work with current government advice.
I’m fit and healthy and have no symptoms for COVID-19 and I assume no one in your household has either. We will both let each other know if either of our health changes adversely and if self-isolation must happen then the job will cease immediately.
When I commence the work in your main upstairs bedroom, please ensure no one is in the hallway when I’m setting up. I will wear a protective facemask at all times (A2 P3R Filters) and once set up, I’ll be working in the room on my own.
There is a small amount of work needing done in the hallway and no one is allowed in this area at all when I’m working there (if passing by me, please stay at least 2-3 metres away).
I’ll wear protective gloves and use anti-bacterial wipes on any surface I touch whilst using your bathroom for water etc.
The situation may change in the coming days and if a lockdown is enforced then my work will re-commence when it’s deemed safe to do so.
I’d be grateful if you could reply to this stating you agree with the guidelines above”.
