the event that you should run out of oil, we will aim to get a delivery to you on the same day, weather and circumstances permitting. This automatically sends us the level of oil in your tank, and once down to an agreed level we shall automatically send a delivery. Thus ensuring that you never run out of Fuel

🏆🚛 **What a Day at Drymen Show!** 🚛🏆

We were absolutely delighted to jointly win the **Best Trade Stand** award alongside Joe Allan & Son Ltd**.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to visit us throughout the day. It was great to catch up with so many customers, suppliers and friends, and to meet plenty of new faces too.

The stand was busy from start to finish, with the simulator kindly provided by the **Scottish Plant Owners Association** proving to be a fantastic attraction for visitors of all ages. There were some impressive scores posted and plenty of laughs along the way!

Events like Drymen Show are a great opportunity to support our local community and spend time with the people who support our business throughout the year, and for that we are extremely grateful.

Thank you to the show organisers, volunteers and everyone who stopped by for a chat, a roll, a drink or to take advantage of our show offers.

🌱 We’re Proud Runners-Up! 🌱

We’re absolutely delighted to share that James D Bilsland Ltd were named Runners-Up in the Green Award at the UKIFDA Awards 2026 🎉

For a small, family-run business in rural Scotland, this recognition means a huge amount to us. We’re continually working behind the scenes to reduce our carbon footprint—from improving efficiencies across our fleet and offering lower-carbon fuel alternatives like HVO, to investing in infrastructure such as our CHP (Combined Heat & Power) unit, which now heats both our office and workshop.

It’s all part of the bigger picture as we take practical steps to become a more sustainable business 💚

A big thank you to our brilliant team who make this happen every day, and to our customers who continue to support us as we move towards a greener future.

We might not have taken top spot this time… but we’ll definitely be back 😉

📣 Scottish Emergency Heating Oil Scheme – Update

New government-backed support scheme for households using heating oil or LPG.

This is being managed by Advice Direct Scotland, and applications are due to open Wednesday 1st April.

👉 The scheme is designed to help households struggling with the recent increase in fuel costs
👉 Payments will be made direct to your supplier (where possible)
👉 You must either be on certain benefits or be able to demonstrate financial hardship

⚠️ Important to note:

It applies to recent or upcoming orders (after 1 April 2026)
