Meet the committee!
Euan Martin, Treasurer.

Euan graduated with an MPhys in Physics from Durham in 2022, completing a masters project in computational condensed matter research. He then joined the Centre for Doctoral Training in Applied Photonics, conducting research into the commercialisation of photoacoustic spectroscopy for Emerson Automation Solutions, alongside the Centre for Microsystems and Photonics within the EEE department at Strathclyde.

Meet the committee!
First up is your president, Martin Monaghan.

Martin graduated with MPhys Physics with Advanced Research degree from Strathclyde in 2021, completing a Masters project through the Institute of Photonics in optical modelling for neurophotonics devices. After a year working at Coherent Scotland as a Laser Systems Engineer, he joined the Centre for Doctoral Training in Applied Photonics. In 2023 he began his EngD project, titled ‘Optical Communications in Challenging Environments’, at the Fraunhofer Centre for Applied Photonics and the University of Strathclyde.
