Well the old git is officially retiring off the tools for good, notice has been given at the unit so all tools and equipment are being sold off including the truck, it's going to be a clean slate job.
A lot has already gone but more will be added over the next few week, It's all either facebook market place or ebay.
Can't share a link on a workpage for some reason but anyone interested pm me and I'll direct you to it so you can keep tabs on what's up for sale.

Now this was yesterday morning in now Sunny Exeter before I headed back to dodge city, just checkout them logs plus the view, these particular 90 x 260 logs are actually seam taped and wooded pegged.

It’s the little things in life that make you smile.
Here we are in not so sunny Exeter South Devon at the beginning of an installation of a 12 x 4.5 mobile compliant log cabin, there are going to be many new phases of installation regards this girl but let me show you the base bearer system, I’m guessing you have to be a veteran installer to really appreciate it, even me Mr finicky would say this is over kill but I do like it.
Now the team have a real challenge due to restricted space and also using the new 90 x 260 log system, rest assured I have complete faith in Team 2 Niall, Sean and Conner who have been assigned to carry out this installation.

Happy 1st Work Anniversary to me ;)
I'll be honest my friends I didn't think I'd last six months after coming off the tools, I thought I'd either get the bullet or more likely spit my dummy out and walk but hey here I still am.
So how have these first twelve months been, it certainly has been a learning curve and not just the management side of the job it's also been a personal learning curve which is still continuing truth be told meaning coming from a self-employed back ground with the feeling of being your own boss to then working under someone else's flag felt like a step down initially.
But now it feels like or should I say I feel I'm now part of Timber Building Specialists, I've took a shine to the girl and we can work well together, without giving any one an ego boost I've got enough ego myself ;) I have been given a lot of free rein so to speak and probably behind the scenes a lot of leeway to be who I am which was a bit of a risk for the powers that be I guess.
So anyhow lets see were the next twelve months takes us, I do have plans and ambitions within this company rest assured of that, this is not just a job were I go to work, earn a wage, come home and repeat, I'd get bored very quickly just doing that .
