🎄‘𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲’🎄is one of the main annual fundraising activities organised by Longfield Hospice. Over the course of four days, households across Gloucestershire who have made a monetary donation have their Christmas tree collected by teams of volunteers for recycling. The collected trees are either mulched or turned into biofuels, and the funds raised help Longfield continue providing vital support to families in our local community.

The volunteers come from all walks of life, including local businesses, groups of friends, and individuals passionate about giving back. This year, 𝗟𝗕 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘆 was proud to contribute two teams, comprising six of our employees, to support this incredible initiative.

The feedback from our volunteers was overwhelmingly positive. They found the experience deeply fulfilling and appreciated the exceptional support provided by the Longfield team. All of the volunteers have expressed interest in participating in this initiative again in the future.
