Yesterday was a special day for AIS as we welcomed guests to our Gloucester headquarters to receive our latest King’s Award for Enterprise.

The award for innovation was presented by Edward Gillespie, Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire, alongside Andrew Tabor, Deputy Lieutenant, and David Owen, Director of Economy and Environment at Gloucestershire County Council. It recognises our NjordGuard cable protection system for offshore wind, an innovation we are particularly proud of.
Developed by our team in Skelmersdale, NjordGuard reflects the engineering expertise that drives innovation across AIS.

Thank you to Edward, Andrew, David and everyone who joined us to mark this important achievement, and to the team behind NjordGuard for making it possible.

AIS is delighted to champion British manufacturing and to see the work of our people recognised with this award, our seventh King’s Award for Enterprise, including those previously awarded under the Queen’s Award name.

Our new AIS website is live.

It’s been months in the making, but our new website is now live. The new site will make it easier to explore our products, capabilities and solutions across our three core product segments: Thermal, Subsea and Marine.

Each segment has its own dedicated area, to help find the most relevant products and to understand how our technologies can address specific challenges.

The new structure also supports the integration of Bardot and CRP Subsea into the AIS brand, bringing relevant products into the segment areas, predominantly Subsea.

Subsea insulation built for challenging conditions.

Our customer required robust, removable insulation covers for flanges and bulkheads, that could withstand the harsh conditions of the North Sea and be installed and removed by divers.

AIS delivered with ContraTherm® C55, developing 14 bespoke configurations across 70 covers. Its robust construction, excellent resistance to high-temperatures, and suitability for demanding subsea environment made it the ideal material for these operating conditions.
