We carried out a full structural alteration to transform this space into a modern open-plan kitchen and dining area. The existing load-bearing wall was carefully removed, and the opening was structurally supported with a newly installed steel RSJ (rolled steel joist).

Temporary supports were used during the process to ensure safety and structural integrity while the steel beam was fitted. Once installed, the RSJ was securely boxed in, creating a clean, seamless finish that integrates perfectly with the room layout.

The space has now been fully opened up, allowing for improved natural light and flow between areas. All preparatory works have been completed, leaving the room ready for plastering and the next stage of the renovation.

Recent small Garden Transformation – Before & After

We recently completed a full transformation of this previously unusable and outdated side and patio area, turning it into a clean, practical, and low-maintenance space tailored exactly to the customer’s requirements.

The existing walls and surfaces were tired and restricting the usability of the area, so we installed 8ft feather edge fencing throughout, creating a secure, private, and much more functional environment.

To ensure long-term durability and effective water management, we carried out a full drainage upgrade, including the installation of black ACO channel drains along the property line to safely direct surface water away from the building.

We also supplied and fitted a recessed manhole cover, allowing access while maintaining a seamless, professional finish that blends perfectly with the new surface.

The area was finished using 600 × 600 concrete slabs, carefully laid and levelled to create a modern, hard-wearing patio and walkway that will stand the test of time.

Another high-quality installation completed, improving both the appearance and practicality of the property.

We recently completed a bespoke side access improvement for an elderly client with limited mobility, focusing on safety, durability, and ease of use.

The original pathway was uneven and unstable, creating difficulty when moving bins and increasing the risk of trips and falls. Our priority was to create a secure, low-maintenance, and fully accessible solution tailored to her needs.

✔ The existing natural stone step was carefully lifted, reinforced, and professionally re-laid to ensure long-term strength and stability.
✔ We installed 600x600 x 50mm concrete slabs to create a solid, level, and hard-wearing walkway.
✔ A golden gravel border was added for improved drainage and a clean, defined finish.
✔ A smooth ramped transition was formed to allow effortless movement of her wheelie bin.

The completed area now provides a safe, practical, and easy-to-maintain access route that will serve her reliably for years to come.

✨ Before & After – Recent Project Completed ✨

We’ve been a little quiet on here over the past few months – and for good reason! It’s been a very busy period for us, working hard behind the scenes delivering quality projects for our customers.

Here’s one we recently completed 👇

This job involved addressing underground drainage issues for our client to ensure long-term performance and reliability. Once the drainage solutions were in place, we transformed the space using:

▪️ Bradstone Rustic Grey Natural Sandstone (600x900 slabs)
▪️ A golden gravel chipping area to maximise drainage efficiency
▪️ ACO channel drains installed to effectively manage surface water (unfortunately we forgot to grab photos before covering!)

The result is a clean, modern, low-maintenance space that not only looks fantastic but performs exactly as it should beneath the surface.

We take pride in making sure every job is done properly from the ground up – because what’s underneath matters just as much as the finished look.
