🚨 WE’RE HIRING - SERVICE MANAGER 🚨
LGR Crane Services is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Service Manager to join our team at our Goole Service Centre.
This is a key role within the business, taking responsibility for our day-to-day service operation and managing our growing team of field-based and workshop engineers.
We’re looking for someone who understands that great service isn’t just about fixing a crane. It’s about supporting engineers, communicating with customers, solving problems and making sure every job is completed safely and professionally.
The role will include:
• Managing and developing our engineering team
• Coordinating breakdowns, servicing, repairs and planned maintenance
• Planning engineer workloads and resources
• Supporting customers from initial enquiry through to job completion
• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance
• Helping improve our service operation as LGR continues to grow
Ideally, you’ll have experience within cranes, lifting equipment, heavy plant, construction equipment or a similar engineering environment, alongside experience managing or supervising engineers.
📍 Location: Goole Service Centre
💷 Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
⏰ Hours: Full-time, with an element of on-call hours
