Yard Supervisor – JRC Access UK

About the Role
JRC Access UK is a growing scaffolding company delivering safe, reliable and high-quality access solutions across the UK.
We are looking for an experienced and organised Yard Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our scaffolding yard. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the yard is safe, clean, organised and running efficiently, while making sure our scaffolding teams have the equipment and materials they need.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the scaffolding yard.
* Organise and supervise yard staff and labourers.
* Manage the loading and unloading of scaffolding materials.
* Ensure scaffolding equipment is stored safely and correctly.
* Check materials coming into and leaving the yard.
* Keep accurate records of stock and equipment.
* Identify damaged, missing or unsafe equipment and report it appropriately.
* Prepare materials and equipment for upcoming jobs.
* Coordinate with scaffold supervisors, contracts teams and drivers.
* Ensure vehicles are loaded safely and efficiently.
* Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised yard.
* Ensure all yard activities comply with company health & safety procedures.
* Help improve stock control and yard efficiency.
* Take responsibility for maintaining high standards across the yard.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in a scaffolding yard or construction environment.
* Confident supervising and managing a team.
* Organised and able to prioritise workloads.
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
* Safety-conscious with a strong attention to detail.
* Able to work under pressure in a busy environment.
* A good communicator and team player.
* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Knowledge of scaffolding materials and equipment is highly desirable but not a deal breaker
* Forklift/telehandler experience or relevant tickets would be an advantage but training will be given.
