Final Friday. Feelings of leaving a place you feel happy in can be scary,but today was our last day here, and it was a good one, and I actually felt good about coming home. Sometimes I actually dread the drive back and how it makes me feel. A day of firsts today. Lee Bay visited in the rain and house viewings in Combe Martin. Back to the village for dinner and dusk views out over the bay. Time to head home and start the jobs we have planned and .bensley.

Relaxing and chilled day on the shell beach and a walk in to the village. Arcade fun on the 2p machines and drinks in the club. Happy Tuesday, everyone.

To say we have been waiting for this for 9 months is an understatement. This feels like home to all of us and is very much a bolthole. When life gets to much, a dose of sun sea and sand is what is needed. WelI I can honestly say that After 12 hours my shoulders have dropped and I'm in my happy place.

A new week and another job starting. Dust sheets down, and the first job is to get the loft hatch open and stripped out. 3 new access points going in and then on to the big bit. But more about that lTwr in the week... thanks, .uk, for the floor protection. They are fantastic and are great for steps and make it much safer than old type drop cloths.

Well we have done it.
Eldest has finally been dropped off for her first night at university. Emotionally draining but happy, she has a good little group of flat mates. The room is looking swish, and the car is now bare. Heading home to dinner and bed. Happy hunting moomin, and stay safe. And as you grandad would have said...... if you can't be good..... be careful ! Love you x

Fronts were easier than the rears and much quicker to do. brakes are a go

Rears done and dusted. Old disks were well and truly rusted on. Now we have new disks and pads fitted with sliders all greased and serviced. Fronts can wait till tomorrow its time for a shower and the cinema.
