Dodgy old setup but sometimes you have to be creative! Customer wanted some material removing from the back of this alternator bracket to bring the pulley into alignment so a light skim over with the flycutter soon did the job.

My favourite cable to work with, BICC Pyrotenax or "Pyro" is a mineral insulated copper sheathed cable that will withstand fire, and is also incredibly strong mechanically. Due to it's small outside diameter it makes for a very neat installation.

Some small jobs recently completed for the Class 50 Locomotive Association for the restoration of their locomotive based at Dereham, new roof hatch hinge pins in stainless steel and bodyside grille panel stays in mild steel.
