The carnival came to Technica last Friday, and what a day it was! 🎉

The Technica team came together for our Annual Summer Family Party, and this year's carnival theme certainly delivered.

From garden games and circus-style entertainment to incredible stilt walkers and fire breathers, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was fantastic to see our colleagues, friends, and families celebrating together.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it such a memorable day.

Technica is going racing!

We are proud to back Max Wilson for the 2026 British Superbike season, with his bike now running full Technica livery as he takes on the toughest championship in British motorcycle sport.

Max is seventeen. He has come up through national club racing as a winner, and now he is lining up in the BSB paddock, racing a Triumph Daytona 660 built for the track in the fiercely competitive Sportbike class. It is a big step up, on a fast bike, against serious talent.

He is out at Brands Hatch this weekend, so keep an eye out for the Technica colours on track. Good luck, Max - we will be following along all season.

This brand reflects what Technica has become, and what we're building towards.

With both English and Scottish colleagues across our team, we're already preparing for the friendly rivalry, passionate debates, and inevitable bragging rights that come with a major tournament.

We're proud to be continuing our work with Cadent, who have awarded Technica the next phase of Secure Edge works on their network - designing, installing and commissioning new Secure Edge devices across operational sites.

It's a programme that supports the resilience of Cadent's gas distribution network, helping to safeguard the countries gas infrastructure that millions of homes and businesses rely on.

The work is being delivered alongside deltaflare, whose team configures the devices ready for us to install - a collaboration that's been working well across earlier phases.

Credit to Craig Parker, who leads the programme on our side, and to the team delivering it.

We're looking forward to building on the partnership with Cadent and to delivering this next phase to the high standard their teams expect.

🔬Last week, we were delighted to welcome Graci, a Year 10 student from Cleethorpes Academy, to Technica for her work experience placement with our design team.

Throughout the week, Graci gained valuable insight into the design process and developed hands-on experience completing a variety of tasks.

“I loved creating the Cable Block Diagrams and have found my placement really enjoyable and creative. The most valuable part of my experience at Technica has been having people around me who have made me feel safe in the working environment. I also now understand more potential career paths within the engineering sector!” – Graci

It was fantastic to see Graci’s enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to learn throughout her placement. At Technica, we are proud to support young people in exploring opportunities within the engineering industry and helping to inspire the next generation of STEM professionals.

We wish Graci every success for the future and look forward to welcoming more work experience students over the coming months.
