And that's a wrap. 🎬 Worcestershire TechFest 2026 came to a powerful close last night with the BetaDen Technology Showcase at Stanbrook Abbey - a celebration of innovation, entrepreneurship, and the region’s growing tech ecosystem. 📣

The evening featured live pitches from BetaDen’s Accelerate Cohort 9.0 founders, showcasing solutions tackling real-world challenges across health, agriculture, logistics, AI, and wellbeing - proof that world-class innovation is happening right here in Worcestershire. 🚀

🏆 A major highlight was the crowning of the inaugural Worcestershire Innovation Champion Award, won by , whose clinically informed maternal fitness programmes are making a meaningful impact on pregnancy and postnatal recovery.

A huge congratulations to all cohort founders, finalists, partners, and attendees who helped make BetaDen Showcase 9.0 such a success.

What a start to Worcestershire TechFest 2026! 🚀 Day one of kicked off in style at our launch event at The Guildhall Worcester - a beautiful historical venue at the heart of Worcester. The event brought together innovators, businesses, partners, and community leaders from across the county to celebrate the start of this year’s festival. 📣

Our keynote speakers outlined the exciting plans for TechFest 2026, whilst a vibrant exhibition space showcased local cutting-edge organisations and initiatives. 🦾

🚀 Last week saw our amazing Cohort 9.0 take part in their last pre-showcase pitch practise.

This was the final opportunity for our founders to hone their presentation skills in front of an audience before the big day at Stanbrook Abbey in just over two weeks time. 🥳

A huge well done to all those who presented on such an excellent job, and a massive thank you to all of our BetaDen mentors and wider network who gave up their time to come along and provide brilliant feedback - we cannot wait to share the result of all of the Cohort’s hard work at our 9th Showcase event on Thursday 26th February. 👏

What an inspiring evening at TEDxWorcester! ⭐️ We were excited to watch - and even more excited for the audience to experience - our External Affairs Director, Donston Powell, take the stage with “The One Where You Understand Quantum Technology.” The talk brilliantly untangled complex quantum concepts with a clever nod to the TV show Friends, making cutting-edge tech feel relatable, engaging, and fun. 🚀

Huge thanks to all the speakers who brought diverse and powerful ideas to life - from managering and wellbeing to creativity and community impact. It was a night full of insight, inspiration, and conversation that reminded us why TEDx events matter.

🚀 Our ‘Optimising for AI’ workshop has returned to Wyre Forest, with another brilliant session at The Old Court in Kidderminster.

Marketing wizard Catherine Goodwin of and SEO expert Kyle Adkins delivered a fantastic presentation focusing on the huge range of changes that the advent of AI is bringing to the SEO and paid advertising space, with a focus on how business owners and marketing professionals can traverse this ever-evolving landscape and come out the other side with practical steps & strategies for growing a brand online. 🌐 🦾

It was a full-house yesterday morning for our 'Optimising for AI' workshop at the beautiful Wharton Park Golf & Country Club in Bewdley! 🚀

Apart from scenic views, delegates were treated to a thought-provoking presentation delivered by , uncovering the latest happenings in the world of SEO and PPC, and the impact AI has had on the industry. 🤔 🤖

The burning discussion around Artificial Intelligence comes to Malvern. 🚀

Last week saw the return of our AI & Innovation Forum, this time taking place at the stunning Abbey Hotel in Malvern. 🦾

Attendees were treated to six brilliant presentations from experts across the tech & digital landscape with perspectives ranging from the AI-powered start-up space to the world of intellectual property law, and a focus on both the benefits & challenges surrounding AI adoption in business. 🤖

It was fantastic to see so many people in the room engaging with some of the key topics and queries around Artificial Intelligence and how it will shape our future, posing important and thought-provoking questions to our speakers. 🤔
