Stowen Group is delighted to announce that it has won an 18-month multi-million-pound contract, supporting early-stage activities on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure developments.

The award reflects Stowen’s experience in delivering complex, safety-critical solutions and demonstrates the company’s growing involvement in major energy and infrastructure schemes.

The work is planned to be delivered across several phased activities, supporting both initial site set-up and the development of longer-term construction infrastructure. These phases include early enabling works, the assembly of specialist temporary systems and the construction of key marine-related infrastructure elements as the project progresses.

The initial phase of works is already underway, and all are being delivered in line with Stowen’s established quality, safety and assurance processes.

Colin Stewart, CEO, Stowen Group, said of the award, “Securing work on a project of this scale and national importance is a real achievement for Stowen and a testament to the capability and commitment of our team. This award strengthens our position within the energy and infrastructure sector and provides a strong platform for continued collaboration and future opportunities.”

This week, Stowen had the pleasure of welcoming Kaden Bracken from University Technical College Norfolk , to the Stowen Warehouse team for a week of work experience.

Under the supervision of Jamie Jarvis, Kaden began his placement with a comprehensive health & safety induction before quickly getting involved in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.

Throughout the week, Kaden contributed across a wide range of activities, including:

- Supporting the Goods-In function
- Assisting with 5S housekeeping activities to maintain organisation and efficiency
- Collecting equipment from suppliers
- Helping to prepare and load out a container with equipment and consumables for an oil & gas project
- Understanding and selecting the correct PPE for workshop activities

Kaden also embraced the opportunity to take ownership of a task, where he created a stock evaluation spreadsheet for grinding consumables. This will support the team in better monitoring stock levels and managing cost, an excellent contribution for someone in their first week!

Kaden approached every task with a positive, polite, and proactive attitude. He consistently showed enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.

Thank you and well done Kaden, on a successful week with us at Stowen. We wish you all the best in your future development and career journey.
