📢 We’re Hiring – General Manager | N-ERGISE
As N-ERGISE continues to invest in and develop its operations across the UK and internationally, we are looking to appoint an experienced General Manager to join our senior leadership team.
Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, this is a key appointment with responsibility for the day-to-day performance and development of N-ERGISE Ltd, with a particular focus on Projects and Operations.
This is not a purely corporate management role.
We are looking for someone with a strong Oil & Gas / Energy background and meaningful offshore experience, who understands project delivery and operations and, importantly, has proven experience helping to grow and scale an SME.
The right person will be equally comfortable:
• Leading and developing a management team
• Challenging project performance, margins and delivery
• Presenting confidently to senior clients
• Engaging directly with offshore and site teams
• Driving improvements in systems, processes and operational efficiency
• Rolling their sleeves up and getting involved when the business needs it
Experience within a major EPC or operator can certainly be valuable, but this role requires someone who understands how to operate successfully within a lean, entrepreneurial business without the extensive corporate infrastructure of a large organisation.
Oil & Gas and offshore experience are a priority, with experience across Nuclear, Offshore Wind, Fabric Maintenance, Commissioning, Electrical, Inspection or associated Industrial Services particularly relevant.
📍 Great Yarmouth preferred / Montrose considered
🌍 The role will include UK and international travel, potentially including offshore projects, Europe and West Africa, together with working closely with the wider N-ERGISE Group team in Dubai.
For an exceptional individual who demonstrates the required capability and performance, there is potential for the position to develop into a wider Group-level leadership role as N-ERGISE continues to grow internationally.
