Back to our long time customers for some more oak fix and out with the old doors in with the new ones to tie in with our lovely oak balastrade and glass done previously

This week took us back to our existing customers in sunny port Glasgow and it was doors ,doors and more doors all round

We removed the older style oak doors and installed 9 new pre-finished oak dordoyne doors from Howdens Greenock and (made to fit )a couple of them we cut down and put back together into non standard size cupboards an you would never know ,just what you want wen you put the effort in you definitely get the reward

These doors are absolutely stunning and blend in with the rest of our recently done oak balastrade and glass stair work

We love working in this house it is an absolutely beautiful house and a credit to our customers hard work an effort
Thanks for them

The start to this year had a big one

One of our old friends moved home from wales and bought themselves a do er upper

And boy oh boy the team delivered

On day one the work we got through was nothing short of amazing

Big thanks to Davie and the lads Plumbing and Heating On Tap Ltd and Scott cairns plastering

On day one we literally
stripped out the old kitchen, old pipe work ,old ceilings in the kitchen and living-room
Knocked down the cupboards and dividing walls between kitchen and livingroom and lifted flooring ,installed 1st fix new pipe work to a new understair toilet
then!!!!! Rebuilt the new wall between kitchen an livingroom and sheeted on one side all by 2.30pm
What a team effort that was
Over the next week or two

The kitchen was then re wired to suit the new wren plan by Craig Gordon electrical and new French doors fitted by Inverclyde windows
Then plastered from top to bottom by Scott

Over the space of a few weeks we transformed
This from old and dated kitchen to new modern and our customer dream kitchen all complete with new toilet and wash hand under the staircase

Yes as usual wren and the house (burst corroded pipes ,miss measured kitchens,custom wine racks ) threw us a few curve balls but what’s new

We powered on and got it all ready for Gemini work surfaces to come an lift templates for the new stone worktops
And all ready for the new flooring to be laid .

Can’t wait to see the finished product but yeah this one had everything

One of our long time customers recently bought a new home in Inverkip marina
They wanted to makeover there existing kitchen new worktops ,backboards,glass splash back and new shelve area outside there fridge,
Clean up there old sink fit a new tap and hob

Next up a company is coming in to spray the existing doors and wood work to transform this kitchen

Let’s see where to start
Last week
We got a call from a lovely chap saying we had been recommended by our plasterer Gary Paul plastering services
we had a look an well
Another job done and another happy customer

Our customer in the Greenock west end area
Bought himself a mitresaw and some tools and had a go and decided no ,nope not for me

We went to see the job recommended a few things layout wise

Popped over one afternoon marked it all out (based on there drawings )and once they were happy with our mark outs ,we arranged a day to go back ,cut and fit all the customers beading/mouldings on to the walls

Can’t wait to see the painted and finished room

One of our long time customer got in touch and wanted to replace all the upstairs white doors
With lovely holdenby oak solid doors from howdens including black handle and hinges

A beautiful looking door ,solid & sturdy

We finished it off with replacing the old skirtings and facings with white pre finished contemporary 70mm facing and 120mm skirtings complete with base blocks
All ready for paint and varnish or oil whatever our customer decides on can’t wait to see it all finished off

What makes it that hmmm probably things like this
Well something a little different this one was for my own skin and blister.
A surprise
So she happened to ask me a good while back could you make me something like this
Proceeds to show me a

And well me being me ,I kinda said Uch eye no problem if I ever get the chance. But lodged it in the head haha

Well as usual, I decided the week before Xmas to try get a old beaten up ,dead guitar and create my own version for her
And give it to her as a wee surprise for chrimbo inbetween everything else that the run up to Christmas throws at us hahaha

Well it’s safe to say it turned out better than I thought and she was blown away with it

So here it is
The re-loved guitar art wall or on a guitar stand (country style)

Took an old beat up guitar,
cut it open ,
installed shelves ,
Removed shelves ,
spray painted black ,
then spray painted glitter ,
then sprayed with a glossy lacquer!
Installed the shelves again haha
Being a country lover
I organised country vinyl stickers and started peeling and sticking on the back side to give it the travelling country singer vibe.
Then lastly the pain staking install of the led lights an power pack.

But it turned out amazing
The best pressie always turn out the hand made most thoughtful ones

We have a few more planned to turn around and a couple of inquiries
so watch this space for more belters

This week brought us to our lovely customers house in the east end of Greenock
completed Shaker style wall panelling and new handrail with polished chrome brackets
Stripping off an removing old dado rails
We also lifted the old hall flooring and laid the new customers oak flooring which they already had and installed new contemporary mdf skirting from Howdens Greenock

Can’t wait to see it once all the walls are filled plastered here an there and it’s all painted and decorated it’s gonna be lovely
