Newman & Ellis carpentry and building rang and their client wanted somwhere to sit and enjoy the 2 week summer we where having while the rest of their garden is on going some major construction. We didn't do the prep on this one but went along to drop some slabs down add a step to French doors and joint up to match the steps already in situ✌️

Problem was they needed somthing substantial to build it on...

A rotten raised decking area removed treated and replaced with composite ✅️
A completed floating patio for rear access and relaxing area with views for the guest house ✅️

These new home owners where after wider access and more space for parking but on a budget 🤔 no problem 👍

It was a long way out for the services but we dug an incredibly long trench bridged over a stream installed a septic tank and made it happen🙌 and if you fancy a couple of nights away with stunning views of the tallest gravity fed water fountain and one of the most impressive viaducts in the country you can go check it out here... airbnb.com/h/stanwayshepherdshut

This one was good fun 👌what started off as a straight forward footing for a small single story turned into 30+ tonne away and a back and forth with regs. They wanted structual designs for a lintel style footing to get over a storm pipe that was running directly in the footing line. we scraped that idea to save the client some money! spoke with the neighbours who where happy to slightly dig their side of the boundry we redirected the drains adding some rodding points to keep everyone happy. Left nice and tidy ready for the stone.👍
