Today's job, lay 33 square metres of traditional fiberous floor screed coming in at around 7 tons of materials. Job completed with only half a bucket left over as wastage. One of our current projects which is a 10 square metre sun room, built to surpass building regulations at customers request. We have poured a stepped foundation to overcome the sewer line, whilst leaving it protected and also accessible for the future. Note the construction o the floor in which we first laid terram fabric to prevent sinking of the sub Base, compacted mot 1 hardcore, polythene, 125mm insulation, more polythene to prevent wet concrete seeping through the insulation and causing cold spots and then a concrete slab was poured and floated off to give a nice finish. Bricks were carefully selected to give a good match to existing house, looking forward to seeing the completed build this week.
