So I’ve been toying with the idea of possibly starting another new company up,.... European Aircraft Services, based at Aosta in the Italian Alps.... close to the Airfield.
I’m going to have to go and have a Scout around myself, but my local contact out there at the moment tells me there are units to rent for less than 500 Euro a month..., that’s well affordable!

Starboard wing interior re worked after reception from previous worker.
They didn’t read the manual as well as they should have done, because flox should have been put in ALL the junction corners,.... the Bid cloth has a lot more strength, if it flows in a smooth curve, and not RAMMED into a tight corner at 90 degrees!!
3 weeks work for this task!
120 hours....
Would have Been a lot easier if they had understood the manual the first time round!!

So my Company Vehicle a Mercedes 200e was stolen 48 hours ago, complete with my Engine Cowlings for Project 5 inside.
They are all Carbon and very distinctive.
Also, blue foam mounds for stick tops x2, a 25 mm mandrel for forming carbon cylinders, and a tub of Seilo filler ( white) worth £62 as well.
If anyone offers these items for sale, they are MINE!
CALL THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY!!!
AND GET THE IDIOTS TRYING TO SELL MY STUFF ARRESTED!!!

However my hourly rate is 55 US dollars per hour,plus my flight out to you WILL have to be paid for by the client as well.
Remember 20 years of Experience with Composites on Aircraft and Gliders.
You get what you pay for Basil!!

A Brand NEW Aircraft Design is currently on the drawing board,finalising dimensions and weight limits,speeds and G loading factors.
Plus sandwich construction make-up.
We require a Backer with sufficient funds to buy materials for a prototype to be produced, plus another Airframe
For some fairly rigorous testing to get
Certification by EASA.
Once Certification is in place,we can start production.
Target pricing at the moment for market is 320,000 dollars.
Considerably cheaper than the Stemme S12 at 369,000 dollars.
This motor glider will be State of the art,using the latest technology.
More to follow,but a Patent will be taken out in the very near future.

Since 1997 our Proprietor Andrew Cullum, has been involved with Composite Aircraft construction,
Starting with G- OGAN, the first Europa he got involved with,doing approximately 800 hours of work,
in the build process.
G-OGAN at the time of construction,
Was made with a wet - lay up wing
Structure, which was very time consuming, ( approximately 1000 man hours).
After G OGAN was sold, it was involved in a serious landing accident in France,
Nearly written off by the insurance company, but expertly repaired with a new set of Xs wings by Airborne Composites.
More Aircraft build assist followed,
With G-EPOC, a Jabiru Aircraft,
Andrew did all the Composite work on
The wings, flap mounting brackets,and fitting the ailerons and aileron control
Runs,approximately 250 hours.
Another Europa Airframe belonging to
Abdullah Karim Bachu was worked on for another 800 hours.
G-CGDH was worked on by Andrew after a landing accident as a Mono Wheel,repair of G-CGDH was assisted by Neville Eyre,plus the glass work for the main gear legs was contracted to
Neville.
Andrew then took up the reins and built up a new wing shell from Europa,fitted the rest of the undercarriage components, Dual foot brakes,uprated
Brake lines and specially machined aluminium spacers in the nose wheel
To replace the need to loctite the bearings to the axle.
These spacers provide a pre load for the bearings so they don’t rotate.
This means that a nose wheel puncture can be easily repaired in the field without the need for a blow torch
To separate the wheel components and destroying the bearing seals.
Plus,the proper Matco brake slides were also used to make sure the brakes actually work and not jam up,
As the original Europa ones frequently do.
Uprated brake lines were also employed,stainless steel braided with a 12,000 psi burst pressure.

Just located my New Workshop facility
At Kent Street in Grimsby.
In the very building I used to work in
Before, printing Newspapers.
It's a small unit initially, but the potential is huge.
The Stuffing area is big enough to rig
Two aircraft comfortably.
And the old Reel room is big enough to accommodate an Open Class gliders
Set of wings rigged.

Using Ampreg 21 Aviation approved Resin.
Also,Araldite 420,aerospace approved glue.
Ceiling panels,Instrument Pods,Mount pods for Jack plugs,specially customised moulded stick grips,moulded from the pilots Hand,
Right or left,whichever you want.
Engine Cowlings
All made from 200 gsm Bidirectional
Carbon and Ampreg 21 resin.
And D rear access panels for the Europa.
Other accessories are in development
But,confidential until the launch in July,
2018.
