🚨 Gas Safety First 🚨
Called out to a property following a reported smell of gas.
After carrying out a full investigation, we located a gas leak on the customer’s gas supply pipe. For the safety of the occupants, the gas meter was capped and isolated, meaning the gas supply was disconnected to eliminate the immediate danger until the faulty pipework can be repaired.
⚠️ If you ever smell gas:
• Open doors and windows.
• Don’t use electrical switches or naked flames.
• Turn off the gas at the emergency control valve if it’s safe to do so.
• Call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.
Gas leaks should never be ignored. Safety always comes first.
