Electrician Required
Clarke’s Mechanical Ltd are looking for an experienced Electrician to join the team.
This is a full time employed position with an immediate start preferable.

Job responsibilities will primarily include domestic and light commercial installations, repairs, maintenance, and safety inspections.
Applicants should have the following qualifications and experience:
• NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition
• City & Guild Electrical Test/Inspect
• Experience with mechanical services control wiring is desirable but not essential.

The successful applicant will need to hold a full driving licence.
Company vehicle & mobile phone will be provided.
Salary dependant on experience.

Gas Engineer / Plumber Required!

Clarke’s Mechanical Ltd are looking for an experienced gas engineer / plumber to work on domestic breakdowns and servicing & maintenance.
This is a full time employed position with an immediate start preferable.

Job responsibilities will primarily include boiler, central heating and hot water cylinder servicing, repairs & installations, as well as domestic / light commercial plumbing installations.
Applicants should have the following qualifications and be competent in the following areas:
• CCN1 Core domestic gas.
• CENWAT1 boiler and water heaters.
• CKR1 Domestic gas cooking appliances.
• Unvented Domestic Hot Water systems UHWSS / UDHW
• Fully qualified and experienced in domestic / light commercial plumbing.
• LPG, Oil and commercial gas qualifications are desirable but not essential.

The successful applicant will need to hold a full driving licence.
Company vehicle & mobile phone will be provided.
Salary dependant on experience.

Coronavirus Update
We are now open and taking appointments as normal. Currently we have a reduced number of staff working and are putting measures in place to ensure the safe return of the remaining staff.

Coronavirus Update

Due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak and current government advice we have decided to temporarily close our office and restrict the type of work carried out. This decision has been made to ensure the safety and well being of our staff and customers.

We have a limited number of engineers working on an emergency works only basis, to maintain customers essential heating and plumbing services. We do therefore have a small amount of office staff who are working from home, to enable these important works to continue. Unless you have been notified, all other scheduled works have had to be postponed.

If you need emergency assistance please contact our normal office number of 01983 299908, where a member of our remote staff will be able to arrange an engineer.

Contracts managers are contactable at their mobile numbers and email addresses.

We are following the governments advice closely and are currently expecting to return to normal operation at the end of the 3 week lock down period. This may however differ if the situation changes.
