19 Enquiries for Air con yesterday. Absolutely mental. Can see this side of business growing quickly. Was averaging 4-5 a year for last 3 years. Fitted 9 already this year with 6 more booked and god knows how many to quote.

What a fantastic few days that was visiting Aristons Heat pump and Gas boiler factory in Ancona Italy.
The attention to detail and pride they have in their processes is very impressive.
Been spoilt visiting some of the best restaurants I've been too and wine was top notch too.
Kayaking through the Italian landscape was not to be missed either.
Met some brilliant people who all share the same vision in the industry.
It's been a brilliant experience and the laughs have been non stop.

Nice little heat pump today providing cooling and today heating in this old outbuilding being converted into an office.

So I've been doing a heat loss calculation on a 4 bed detached in Hail Weston today. Built 1970s, average wall and loft insulation with new ish windows.
Using EPC and clients usage measurements the following is interesting and if on oil very scary!!

Usage per year for different fuel options and age.
Oil pre 1994 litre £1700
Oil pre 1994 @£1 litre £2800
Oil new condensing boiler litre £1500
Oil new condensing boiler @£1 per litre £2500
Gas boiler pre 1994 @6.4p £1600
Gas boiler new condensing @6.4p £1300
Heat pump kwhr £1050.
Personally I use a dual tariff at 7p overnight and 28p in day. I average 16p kwhr which would bring heat pump to £904!!!!!
