Mondays Top Tips on how to look after your washing machine.

✨️ Cleaning the rubber to door.
The door seal is a magnet for dirt, fabric and hair with it also being wet and warm it is the perfect environment for mould. To prevent this wipe the door seal after each wash and make sure it is dry.

✨️ Cleaning the detergent drawer,
You can pull out the drawer and wash with it warm soapy water with a cloth/ old toothbrush to get in all the small areas. Rinse and dry.

✨️ Leaving the door and detergent drawer slightly ajar when the washing machine is not in use to prevent damp and mould.

✨️ Maintenance wash at least once a month but this can vary depending on cycles being used and frequency. The wash has to be 60° or above on an empty load with NO detergent but you can use a washing machine cleaner.

Here in the video you see as the customer put it “loud and drum not spinning” this is due to the spider failing often caused by a build up of too much softener, detergent and used too often on short cold washes.

Morning 🌅

It’s always important to be mindful of not only the products you are using in your appliances but the volume of product too.
Using too much product can cause blockages in places you can and cannot always see and get too. Also using the wrong product in the wrong compartments.

Did you know dishwashers need to be cleaned in order to maintain cleaning your dishes and glasses well.
Tumble dryers need to be cleared of fluff and filters cleaned in order to dry your clothes well.
Sometimes you may have a blockage further down the line and we can help with this but to try and prevent this remember it’s important to always rinse your dishes and clean your dishwashers often… after all you wouldn’t use a dirty sponge on your dishes 😜
