We’re incredibly proud to have completed a full uniform revamp for the pilots and crew of a team who save lives every single day. 🚁

What goes into a project like this?

Perhaps more than you might expect.

Every uniform begins with a conversation. We work closely with our customers to design each piece to their exact specification. Fit, function and finish are all considered from the very start.

From there, everything happens in house at our West Midlands factory. Raw materials arrive, and our small but highly skilled team takes it from there. Cutting, manufacturing, quality checking, wrapping and coordinating every last detail by hand.

Over 10 members of our team played a vital role in bringing this order to life. Designers, cutters, machinists, QC, admin and logistics. Every pair of hands matters.

And what makes this one even more special…

Devon Air Ambulance have trusted us for over 10 years. To have them return for a full revamp of their crew uniform is something we don’t take lightly. It reflects a valuable relationship built on quality, trust and understanding.

We've always believed our customers' expertise shapes better products and this week reinforced it...

Yesterday, we brought together rotary-wing professionals from emergency services across the UK to launch the NVolo Flight Helmet range and Rig Equipment Limited ACE Flight Suit at Ashorne Hill Training and Conference Centre.

Our aim was simple: introduce innovative products and listen to the people who will use them in demanding operational environments. We ran feedback sessions throughout the day, giving our customers space to share what works, what needs improvement, and what matters most in their roles.

As the sole UK distributor for the NVolo helmet range (G-Force and V2-SAR) and developer of the ACE Flight Suit, understanding and responding to the needs of emergency professionals is key to what we do. When safety depends on equipment performing without fail, that feedback is invaluable. Yesterday gave us exactly that, honest conversations, expert views and positive responses to our products, all essential for making sure they truly meet operational needs.

A sincere thank you to everyone who attended and shared their expertise, and to the team at Akela Abbott Ltd for organising and managing the event with such professionalism. You helped the day run effortlessly from start to finish.

12 months ago we set out on a mission...

To find next-generation flight helmets that could raise the bar for aircrew safety, comfort and performance. Today, we’re proud to say that mission has taken a major leap forward.

Last week at EUROPEAN ROTORS - Europe’s biggest helicopter exhibition - we met with our manufacturing partners and collected the very first batch of the new NVolo G-Force Aviator and V2_SAR Technical Rescue helmets.

Seeing them alongside the world’s leading rotorcraft operators and emergency service teams was a powerful reminder of why this matters, because aircrew need equipment that delivers:

🔸 Lightweight ergonomic design for long, demanding flights
🔸 And helmets built for the helicopter professional of the future and for the missions they face today.

The first units have now arrived here in the UK and in January 2026, we officially launch the NVolo G-Force Aviator and the V2_SAR Technical Rescue helmets. The next evolution of aircrew safety is almost here…
