👷🏼‍♂️⚒️ Our team have been onsite for the last 2 weeks building this dormer with Burlington slate exterior cladding to match the existing.

Here’s some progress photos of the project so far.

Steel beams have been fitted using hydraulic lifting equipment to support the new dorma. First stage build is almost complete and we are on with the slate cladding.

The space will create 2 new large bedrooms complete with an ensuite bathroom and office for our customers.

We will also be carrying out the installation of all electrics and air conditioning units with heat pumps to cool and heat.

This project will be complete within the next 4-6 weeks ✔️

Having any building work done can be quite a daunting task..

So what should you consider when choosing the right people for the job?

✅ Experience

Experience is knowledge! Building work comes with many boxes that MUST be ticked, such as rules and regulations that are very strict, and strict for a very good reason. Having a builder that holds specialist knowledge to ensure your project is carried out correctly following these regulations, is critical!

✅ Reputation

Reputation within the construction industry is paramount! Ask to see previous work and photos of jobs that have been carried out by your preferred builder and don’t be afraid to ask permission to speak to previous customers! Allowing someone in your home to carry out work to your property requires trust. Ensure you have confidence in your chosen builders before you commit to their work.

✅ Qualifications

There are many benefits to using a builder with the correct qualifications. When it comes to building work, whether it is work to an existing building or a complete new build; for most, it usually is one of the biggest investments you will make during your lifetime.
