U13’s at Nationals part 3

The third game saw Kel replace Oscar between the pipes and us face the Stingrays in a close battle that pushed both teams. Stingrays started strong but Leo pulled it back to 1-1 but we left ourselves with a hill to climb at the end of the 1st conceding 3 goals in as many minutes. A regroup between period seemed to do the trick as we game back scoring 3 unanswered goals to tie the game. Filip followed by 2 from Leo to give him his well deserved hat trick. A late breakaway goal that we didn’t have an answer for gave Stingrays the win in the closest game of the day so far.

Recipient of the “Big Horn Energy Medal” for our third game was Ruaidri for his tenacity and determination.

U13’s Nationals part 4

The final game of the day and the final game of the season for our u13’s saw us playing Huskies. A short report as we went down 0-4 but Kel did a cracking job keeping us in the game but it wasn’t to be at the other end of the rink. The final winner of the “Big Horn Energy Medal” for the day was Edwyn wrapping up a great season.

They u13’s hand over to our u16’s who are currently competing in their final game of the season.

U13’s at Nationals part 2

The second game of the day was against our good pals Humberside Havoc.

The first period ended 0-5 to Rams with goals from Leo (2), Kel and Filip (2). Havoc came out fighting in the second though. Filip got us 0-6 ahead before Havoc pulled back 2 goals but Filip sealed the deal with his fourth of the game to end it 2-7.

Player of the game and the next person to wear the “Big Horn Energy Medal” was Filip for his outstanding ability to find the back of the net!

U13’s at Nationals

Game 1 for our 13’s today was against a strong Steelers Team. Oscar stood strong in the net but it wasn’t to be as we went down 0-11. Player of the game and sporting the new
“Big Horn Energy Medal” was Kel who wore it with pride! Big thanks to Bardown Displays for providing us with our new player of the game awards.

We really enjoyed making these for England Ice Hockey and particularly enjoyed seeing photos of the winners 🥅🏒
