Energy Oasis is working in partnership with East Lindsey District Council through the Energy Smart East Lindsey programme to help high-energy-use businesses across the district identify opportunities to reduce energy costs, improve efficiency and build greater resilience against rising prices.

As part of this programme, eligible businesses can access a professional Energy Oasis business energy audit, with 66% of the cost funded by East Lindsey District Council.

To introduce the programme and explore the opportunities available to local businesses, we're hosting a free business workshop at Kenwick Park Hotel on 12 November.

Yesterday’s announcement of Great British Grid is welcome news. Grid connections have long been one of the biggest barriers for renewable energy projects across the UK, and greater public investment and increased competition in this space is a real positive.

That said, the scale of what needs to happen is significant, and the benefits of this will understandably take time to filter through to businesses on the ground.

🌱 𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 Ripon Together 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 - 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿

We'll be exhibiting at Allhallowgate Methodist Church Hall in Ripon from 10am to 3pm, as part of a brilliant free community event covering everything from energy and home improvement to food, farming and the environment.

We will be there to talk all things energy reduction and renewable energy generation, but there will be over 30 stalls, repair cafés, cookery demonstrations and plenty more.

We are proud to announce we have been appointed by East Lindsey District Council to deliver specialist energy audits and advisory support to high-energy-use businesses across the district as part of this new scheme.

Funded through the East Lindsey Investment Fund, the programme is designed to help East Lindsey businesses understand their energy use, identify commercially viable opportunities for investment, and ultimately reduce operating costs.

We will be working closely with businesses to help identify practical improvements and real steps towards energy independence through on-site generation, battery storage, and smart energy management.

And we don't stop at recommendations. Where a business wants to move forward with the findings, our in-house team can deliver the project too, from design through to installation and ongoing support.

We've received the official video from the Great Yorkshire Show Demo Ring team from Friday's demonstration of the Hydrogen Toyota Hilux.

This time we were delighted to welcome Tom Gordon MP to join us!

It was a privilege to be able to demo the Hilux everyday at the show and highlight what is capable today for hydrogen powered vehicles.
