🧱 Planning Approved! 🧱

After 30 years, 7 applications and three lost planning appeals along the way, we are pleased to have finally prevailed in obtaining planning permission for the development of the our land adjoining Millstones, Oxspring (a development also enabled by our company during the 1990’s) for six new homes!

Another record set by our company, with this being the first ‘grey belt’ application approved in this District, with potentially another also set for the fastest issue of a decision notice, within less than 24 hours following approval of the application at committee… but then that’s just how it should be if we are to Get Britain Building! 🇬🇧

The Millstones Development in Oxspring, Sheffield was enabled by Yorkshire Land in the 1990’s and continues to prove one of the most sought after enclaves for aspiring homeowners in the area to this day - with an interesting fact being that two premiership footballers chose to by homes on the development when new.

We recently resubmitted plans to the local authority seeking permission for six additional homes on our circa 1 acre of retained land, intended to serve as the crowning glory to the scheme, almost thirty years later. A decision is expected later this year.

Brilliant to see this first class development progressing on the land we sold some time ago to a local developer in an enviable location adjoining the River Don in Oxspring, Sheffield. All built with beautiful Yorkshire Stone from the nearby Hillside Quarry, Pen*stone 🤩

Rumour has it we recently agreed an option on a similarly cracking site near by. Watch this space 👀
