Another site another wall going up 🧱

Our Retaining UK teams have been busy installing this nice section of retaining wall using our Textured Oakwood panel for our valued client Barratt Homes on their Chidswell project 🤝

We have undertaken a full design & installation service, and we hope you’ll agree it looks really well 👌

The small gaps in the wall are where Barratt will be installing the steps to ensure the homeowners have access to the higher area... it will be a nice area for a cheeky summer drink once completed 🍹🌞

A challenging project over at Skipton for Stonebridge Homes 💪

Retaining UK Ltd worked in conjunction with ZTL Contracting Ltd to excavate for this large 7 metre high Georoc wall close to high level housing which were built on strip foundations 🤝

ZTL used GPS settings on the excavators to produce an accurate cut & Retaining UK provided a ‘one off’ design allowing the backfill width of the wall to fit the excavated profile, by combining a fully concreted base, mid level stone backfill and site won upper backfill levels 👷

Georoc Limestone was chosen by Stonebridge within this sensitively located environment 🧱

Here we have a GeoRoc retaining wall constructed on a new project for Amethyst Homes at their site in Newcastle, what a great scheme! 🙌

Using our textured finished panels in Sandstone really does help with ensuring the new site and its features complement the beautiful St Micheal’s Roman Church built in 1891! ⛪

With our site-specific design & warranty, we ensure the walls provided to our clients are built to last… hopefully, as long as the Church, which looks incredible after 132 years 👏

Here we have a great example of the Oakwood textured GeoRoc panel, creating a large retaining feature on the boundary and then a nice intermediate wall to form the boundary of the patio and grassed area 👷

Before the wise words start, we removed the fall arrest system to take the photos as we felt this was needed to demonstrate the nice terraces we can create using this product 📸

Also, did you know we use site arisings where possible as part of the backfill process? 😮

You will notice the ground here is of good quality, thus providing several benefits, including: cost, program & carbon reduction... just to mention a few! 🙃
