Meet the team: Neil Grice, Head of Klaxon

I've worked at Texecom for over 12 years. I started with 18 months in tech support, and since then I've worked on Klaxon brand projects, export sales and key accounts. Today I'm Head of Klaxon, supporting the ongoing development of the brand and our products, both internally and with our customers.

Coming from an engineering background, I enjoy working out solutions. My approach to sales has never been the hard sell. It's about building relationships and trust and giving customers the best solution for what they need.

Behind the scenes, my work spans multiple departments, including marketing, production, R&D, quality, compliance, sales and logistics, to make sure what the customer receives from us is what they expect and is in the best interests of the Klaxon name.

Externally, I work with international distributors and large accounts, so Klaxon is recognised for quality and offered as the reliable choice first.

What happens to your warning devices when the weather turns against you?

For most sites, that means rain, wind, maybe some frost.

For our Nexus Sounder Beacon, stationed in Antarctica, it means operating permanently in sub-zero conditions with no let-up.

It's an extreme example, but it makes the point clearly: signalling equipment has to be dependable precisely when conditions are working against it.

That's the standard behind every product we build, not just the ones sent to the ends of the earth.

📢 We're proud to share that Neil Grice, Head of Klaxon, is a nominee for the Fire Industry Association Export Council.

Neil has over 20 years' experience in the industry, as both an engineer and a manufacturer.

For much of his time on the manufacturing side, he has been involved in export sales for the Klaxon brand.

Working with other trade export councils, and continually tracking changes and opportunities in global markets, has given Neil solid experience and adaptability.
