Offering you expanded choice with extended benefits, City Multi R32 YXM VRF is available in system capacities ranging from 12 to 112kW, with options for both Heat Pump and Heat Recovery.

This next-generation plug-and-play VRF system features a newly engineered, ultra-compact modular YXM chassis that has a 6% smaller footprint than the market average. The enhanced range also offers flexible piping layouts, new and improved defrost technology, exceptionally low noise levels, and compliance with BS EN 378 Part 3 safety standards. Omnibus Reigate is a landmark 70,000 sq. ft Grade A office building in Surrey. Originally a Grade II listed bus depot, it was redeveloped in 2001 whilst still preserving its historic 1930s Arts and Crafts features, in collaboration with English Heritage.

When upgrading the building’s heating and cooling systems, designers aimed to maintain the performance and functionality of the existing system while reducing the building’s carbon footprint.

Internal Environments Ltd were tasked with exploring a low carbon solution that could replace the gas boilers with an electric-only system.

The solution was to install and commission two Climaveneta 4-pipe heat pump chillers to provide simultaneous cooling and heating, with three EW/HT high temperature heat pumps delivering boosted flow temperatures as required.

Daniel Chapman, Managing Director of the building owners, says, “The refurbished Heating, cooling and ventilation system strikes a brilliant balance between efficiency, capital costs, and the preservation of embodied carbon.” To read more about this exciting project click on the link below.
