Our latest case study looks at the two mezzanines that we installed for the brand new Beaulieu Padel Club in Chelmsford, Essex.

The mezzanines add 296m² of space in total. One floor encloses the onsite shop, toilets and changing rooms, creating a 177m² seating area with a view over the courts. The second mezzanine encloses the onsite cafe and provides a further 119m² of space.

We recently installed a mezzanine floor for Woodland Construction as part of a larger fit-out project in Brighton, East Sussex.

The mezzanine adds 363m² of storage space for an existing business that is expanding into the unit from next door. We provided a general access staircase which will be compartmented as part of the larger fit-out project.

The mezzanine floor we installed for is a great example of a warehouse mezzanine, it adds 63m² of additional usable space over existing machinery and equipment.

Access is via an existing staircase that led to some offices that proved to be suitable and a 1.5m counterbalance pallet gate for goods and materials.

This mezzanine extension for a manufacturer in Haverhill, Suffolk adds 195m² of additional space. Added to the previous installation of 400m², this makes a total gain of 595m².

The new floor works over and around planned new equipment for this return customer. A pallet gate was relocated along with some of the existing balustrade to suit the new layout and a new staircase installed to provide access to both the new area of mezzanine and a fire exit.

Seb joins us from a specialist prototyping company where he worked as Director for the last 27 years. His career has given him experience and insight across a wide range of industry sectors, giving him a deep practical understanding of how businesses operate and what they need to succeed both as a customer and a supplier.

“Building and running a small business for more than two decades has shaped my approach to customer service and a commitment to delivering the best possible project outcomes. When a standard balustrade doesn’t provide quite enough protection, we have a couple of other options that offer something more.

Our Classic Balustrade is standard height, but has mesh panel infills to prevent items from falling off the mezzanine. Popular for industrial environments, gyms and leisure.

Our Fortress Balustrade is taller with mesh panels, excellent for mezzanines used for production or with storage shelves or racking around the perimeter.

This installation for Amber TX is an excellent example of using a mezzanine to create a specialist multi-use facility in an empty shell of a building.

Working as a project partner with Bulb, we designed, fabricated and installed a two level mezzanine floor with a feature staircase that wraps around a lift.

The mezzanine adds 325m² on the first floor and 308m² on the second, creating a total of 633m² of space to be used as offices, meeting rooms, laboratories, clean rooms and staff facilities.

Prior to moving into their new site, Amber TX’s operations were spread across three separate locations.
