We are taught that the Cowboys vs Indians narrative that the Indians are bad, the cowboys are good, protectors and just looking after the land.

You see you couldn’t have a Gary Cooper or a John Wayne play a Native American so the story is told over and over and the narrative written to allow everyone to believe that cowboys are, well the heroes.

The reality is that the Indians were born from the land, owned the land, farmed the land, brought their families up on the land and where there well before the cowboys arrived - now I know there is a lot more to it than that BUT the fundamentals are there.

What has this got to do with COY scaffolding?

Well this job was stolen, from local lads, who work hard and I would say stolen by the cowboys who rock up in York and let me tell you there are plenty and take what isn’t there’s!

These lads probably won’t see this equipment again but like tool theft, van break in, people being ripped off etc etc. support the Indians.

We all graft hard, we all have bills to pay and for those genuine locals, I’m afraid this is disgusting to see.

Please keep a look out for this (that’s to all the roofers, builders etc) boards will have COY stamped on them
