Did you know we do concrete floors?
This one was a simple supply and lay with all the prep work carried out by the main builder. Although a simple job it was made a bit more interesting due to it being in the cellar of an old building with very limited access.

Nice tight job ticked off the list a couple weeks ago in Stockport. The only access to dig these footings was to go through the house which was made easy with the 1tonne digger and little track dumper.

Last week we were on with a nice easy job consisting of digging a banking back and installing a land drain. Allowing the customer to build his own gabion basket retaining wall.

Whilst we were there we were also asked to dig out and concrete the foundations for his new extension ready for his brick layer to make a start.

Couple little jobs boxed off this last week.

Parking area in Todmorden. With trees removed and disposed of, ground built up with 3inch clean stone and topped with tarmac plainings all delivered with our handy little tractor and 10t trailer due to the tight access.

Then we installed a new access road to a local farmhouse renovation allowing them to take large deliveries with ease.

One of our projects coming close to completion in Huddersfield.

We carried out demolition of old building, reduce dig, Lego block retaining wall, drainage and new services, concrete slab and this week the building went up! All that’s left is to clad the externals and some tidying and landscaping.

Another job completed,

This time we poured a concrete raft slab in hebden bridge in preparation for a new single story extension. The access for this job was very awkward but we got there in the end. Once again all work was carried out in house minimising delays and keeping quality of work high.

A recent demolition job we carried out over at Saint Peter’s Church Hall in Lymm. We demolished the old church hall which consisted of a full soft strip, removal of cement fibre roof sheets containing asbestos, removing all the concrete panels and dismantling the steel frame to be reused. Following this we carried out a reduce dig segregating hardcore and spoil for cost effective removal from site. All work was carried out in house meaning it could be completed in a timely manor.

A couple of little walling jobs done recently. Some flags on end replaced with a wall using some reclaimed stone in sowerby bridge. Then digging out and moving another wall in order to extend a driveway in clitheroe.
