An exciting two days wagering with this trusty Cornish “sunshine” in porthleven!

Extremely pleased with the outcome of this work finished today it has really transformed the garden! From old blockwork to clean cut panels of sand & cement render 😁

It was a tricky decision this morning deciding whether to risk the rain or get the top coat on and floated and heck am I glad I chose to get it done.

A fun morning on this monster ceiling last Saturday! 🦾

I was more than glad to know I had a superior labourer by side. It was amazing I didn’t even have to think about moving the hop up or getting more skim on my handboard. An absolute dream and a pleasant change I must say 😅

I was surprised to see such a length of a ceiling but it all made sense once I realised the partition wall had been removed to give the kitchen a nice new open plan feel to it.

Once the windows are fitted I’ll be back again to finish the remaining and I sure cannot wait to see the end result.

As of yesterday this gable end on Wendron street has come to completion!

After 8 10 hour days of hacking off, mixing up and labouring for myself I can finally rest 😅

An extremely fun journey through out working with Wibberley Renovations

Now to look forward to seeing it painted with the scaffolding down!

A great few days in Falmouth reviving these garden walls! The weather was definitely on our side with this one! ☀️

A lovely couple in Falmouth had reached out looking to rectify their garden walls after the previous work had blown and and crumbled away after a load of harsh weather.

Once it was hacked off and prepped it was time for the scratch and float, leaving this as the end result!
Now time for a lick of paint. 🎨

Had a fun day yesterday skimming this garage in 2 sets!

Definitely a difficult one considering the garage door/bracket, lights and smoke alarm had been put up already before getting skimmed but the end result came out great!

Here’s a job from a while back after resolving major damp problems!

The system used is a “tanking render system”, making sure that there is a strong waterproofed barrier of tanking ontop of the sand and cement scratch coat followed up with a top coat bonded to the scratch coat with a cement+SBR slurry.

Then to top it all off, two coats of British Gypsum multi finish layed on top! Giving it that new revitalised look with a purpose behind it!
