It's always good to be able to help out a neighbouring company.

We were recently asked by Quest Joinery, who adjoin our lorry park in Maxted Road, to assist with an onsite move to relocate an ISO container within their grounds.

We used our Megalift sideloader and our new number two artic unit to move the container which we had previously positioned when it was first delivered.

Moving the container has now made way for the company to bring a wood skip onto the site.

Always happy to help.

----- Yard Life -----

There's always something happening in our yard, with deliveries coming in and out and customers visiting our warehouses.

On a quieter day this week our drivers were kept busy by repainting the lines for the different parking bays and markings.

Having clearly marked spaces makes it much easier for all vehicles to park safely and maximises the space within the yard too.

It also helped that the weather has been so hot and dry!

Can you guess which famous Scottish Loch this might be?

Our driver Callum had a Scottish road trip a few weeks ago delivering data loggers for our customer Iesco.

He was dropping them off at various sites across Scotland, over three days, visiting Glasgow, Stirling, Falkirk, Edinburgh, Fort William and Inverness.

While passing Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands he was able to pull over to take a few pictures of the famous loch. No sign of Nessie though!

Can you guess where these photos were taken?

Our driver Ed had some time to take in the views on the Dunoon to Gourock ferry in Argyll and Bute in Scotland.

He was making his way to Glasgow after dropping off a consignment in the forested area of Glenbranter for our customer G&E Automotive.

The ferry views look like could be on a European lake rather than the Firth of Clyde off the west coast of Scotland.

Did you see us at the Kings Langley carnival?

It was lovely to be able to support the fun and provide one of our vehicles to become the stage.

Thanks again to Jackson our driver who always gives of his time to help.

Our Luton Box vans has been busy over the past few months delivering dental equipment for our customer Medray Healthcare.

Travelling to various dental surgeries and hospitals across Southern and Central UK, deliveries have been made to places including Swansea, Barnstaple, Kingston upon Thames, Merthyr Tydvil, Harlow and Dudley.

The Luton vans are ideal for moving heavy or bulky items. The box shape maximizes storage space, while the hydraulic tail lift—a motorized platform at the back—does the heavy lifting.

Our warehouse has also been put to use for the company as we have been able to store some of the equipment too.

It’s not often you’re asked to move a hyperbaric oxygen tank across the country.

A recent job for Cre8ic Ltd saw us picking up and transporting one, along with two saunas, from a spa location in Kensington London all the way to Middlesborough.

Thankfully the spa units had been taken apart and flatpacked and the oxygen tank could be wheeled onto the vehicle.

For this job we used No. 18, an 18 tonne curtain-sider with tail-lift and were able to load and transport over two days, with the pick up on one and the journey to Middlesborough the next day.
