It was fantastic to see so many of our employees getting involved and showing their support for Wear It Pink in aid of breast cancer awareness! 🎀

A great show of team spirit and participation, all joining together to support such an important cause. Employees very generously made their donations and a final total will be communicated shortly.

Celebrating Jack Price's First Year at Bergstrom Europe

We're proud to celebrate Jack Price's first year with Bergstrom Europe as a Graduate Design Engineer.

After graduating from Plymouth University with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Jack joined us eager to begin his Engineering career. Over the past 12 months, he has completed a comprehensive development programme, gaining valuable experience across multiple Engineering disciplines including manufacturing, quality, testing, fabrication and design engineering.

Through hands on placements across the business, Jack has developed a strong understanding of the full engineering lifecycle and how different teams collaborate to deliver innovative solutions. He has contributed to a range of projects, from design improvements and testing activities to process enhancements and quality initiatives, whilst continuing to build his skills in CAD, engineering software, project management and 3D printing.

What has stood out most throughout the year has been Jack's enthusiasm to learn, his positive attitude and his commitment to personal development. He has embraced every opportunity to broaden his knowledge and has already made meaningful contributions across the business.

Reflecting on his first year, Jack shared:
"Transitioning from University life to work can always be a difficult and daunting experience, but the abundance of support provided has made it drastically easier. Spending time with departments outside the typical scope of a new Engineer has given me invaluable experience and insights that I would most likely not have achieved elsewhere. Seeing the whole envelope of engineering, from quality and manufacturing to testing, fabrication and hands on experience, has helped me understand how each area contributes to the bigger picture and has given me a fantastic start to my career."

"Jack's first year with Bergstrom Europe has been a fantastic example of what can be achieved when talent, attitude and opportunity come together. His enthusiasm to learn, willingness to embrace new experiences and commitment to his development have been outstanding. We are incredibly proud of the progress he has made and look forward to supporting him as he continues to grow his engineering career with us."

We're delighted with everything Jack has achieved so far and look forward to supporting his continued growth and development in the years ahead.

❤️ Earlier today, we shared that our team would be taking part in Restart a Heart Day training in support of the British Heart Foundation.

We're pleased to say the training has now taken place, with employees learning the essential CPR skills and awareness that could one day help save a life.

Thank you to everyone who got involved and embraced the opportunity to develop these valuable life saving skills. A big thank you to Lee Stinton our EHS Manager and Rob Pearce Lead First Aider for facilitating an excellent and engaging session.

A great reminder that a few minutes of training can make a lifetime of difference.

🚨 Temporary Dispatch Material Handler - Immediate Start 🚨

⏰ 7:30am - 5:00pm (flexible hours considered)
📅 Temporary role for approximately 8-12 weeks

We're looking for a Dispatch Material Handler with a valid Counterbalance FLT Licence to support our dispatch operation. Main duties will include loading and offloading stock using a counterbalance forklift, with potential opportunities to support stock picking and scanning in the future.

This role will be employed through our recruitment agency NuStaff. There is the possibility of an extension to the length of this employment, but this cannot be guaranteed.
